40' High Cube Container

Prototype Information

A “40′ high cube container” refers to a standard 40-foot shipping container with additional height, allowing for larger cargo volumes, and was developed as part of the broader evolution of shipping container technology, primarily attributed to Malcolm McLean who pioneered the modern shipping container concept, enabling efficient intermodal transport between ships, trains, and trucks; the “high cube” variation simply offers more vertical space within the standard container dimensions, making it ideal for bulky, tall cargo.
