Railroad Short Name: SCOX
The car is commonly referred to as the “Canadian Grain Car”. Between 1972 and 1985 almost 20,000 cars were built for the Canadian government to assist the Canadian railways in transporting vast quantities of grain. Canadian National, Canadian Pacific, and other companies own or lease this type of car.
