The U25C diesel-electric locomotive was the initial foray into the 6 axle locomotive arena by General Electric. They were initially introduced in from 1963 to 1965 with a total produced of 113 units.
This model has has been licensed by and developed with full co-operation of General Electric. Features include state-of-the art tooling, a heavy metal die cast chassis, 5-pole can motor with flywheels, NMRA RP-25 wheel profile, knuckle couplers, authentic paint, lettering and roadnumbers plus road-specific detailing and lighting configurations.
