Railroad Short Name: UP

Built new in 1955 by American Car & Foundry, UP 9004 was set aside for special assignments in 1974. In 1987, the car was named “Harriman” in honor of Edward Harriman and his sons Averell and Roland, who all served as Directors of the company. From 1989 to 1990, the car was named “Sun Valley.”
